TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, November 14. Russian EkoNiva, a leading producer of raw milk, has received certification to export cheese to Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
As per data provided by EkoNiva, the export range initially included classic ultra-pasteurized milk. The new certification will allow Uzbekistan to become acquainted with a wider range of natural dairy products from EkoNiva, including Dürr Classic and Dürr Zeller hard cheeses.
At the moment, preparations are underway to organize deliveries from the Shchuchinsky plant in Russia’s Voronezh region.
“Natural milk and products made from it are in demand in the country. EkoNiva specialists were convinced of Uzbekistan being a promising sales market during their participation in the Food Week and HoReCa Uzbekistan exhibition, held in Tashkent in October,” Sales Director of EkoNiva Denis Ishmaev said.
Meanwhile, EkoNiva started supplying products to Uzbekistan in the spring of 2023 and considers its market promising due to the demand for natural milk and products made from it. Currently, the export range only includes plain ultra-pasteurized milk.
