TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 2. Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture has signed a memorandum of cooperation with US Air Products on industrial gas supply, Trend reports.
According to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Agriculture, the document was signed by Agriculture Minister Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov and President of Air Products for Europe and Africa, Ivo Bols.
Within the framework of the agreement, Air Products will supply industrial gas to Uzbekistan. This will help improve productivity and the quality of products in different segments of the industry.
Currently, the Air Products Company is implementing investment projects worth over $10 billion in Uzbekistan.
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the US amounted to $205.7 million from January through March 2024. The exports reached $45.7 million, while the imports totaled $159.9 million during this period.
