BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2. The total revenue of Iran's Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company increased by 41 percent during the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), the executive director of Iran's Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company Ali Zalkhani said on October 2 at the company's annual meeting, Trend reports.
According to him, the revenue of Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company in the last Iranian year amounted to about 175 trillion rials (about $388 million).
Zalkhani added that the company's net profit rose 44 percent last year compared to the previous year. So, last year, the business had a net profit of 92.7 trillion rials, which is around $206 million.
In the meantime, 4,500 rials (roughly $0.01) was decided upon as the income per share of Persian Gulf Fajr Energy last year at the aforementioned meeting.
To note, Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company is located in Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran. This company also provides services to companies located in the province's special petrochemical zone with an investment of $2.5 billion. A total of 60 percent of shares of this company are owned by the Gulf Petrochemical Industrial Holding Company.
