BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. The total of 24,000 barrels per day was recently added to the crude oil production of Iran's Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company (AOGPC), Mohsen Dehbanpour, executive director of AOGPC, told local media, Trend reports.

According to him, 16,000 barrels per day have been added to crude oil production due to an overhaul at the desalination unit of the Ragh Sefid 1 field.

Dehbanpour added that production was increased by 8,000 barrels per day through well intervention, nitrogen injection, and the use of a mobile processing unit (MOS).

The official noted that the works related to the addition of crude oil production were carried out by specialists from Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company and South Oil Zones Company.

To note, the Aghajari Oil and Gas Production Company operates under the Iranian National Company of Southern Oil Zones. This company exploits eight oil and gas fields.
