BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. Mygov Business will be available for use by entrepreneurs in the coming months, the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev said during a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan on “Azerbaijan's New Digital Architecture” was held under the chairmanship of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Trend reports.
“As we see the myGov platform in the relationship between the state and the citizen, we are applying a similar approach to the interaction between the state and business. The legislative framework for this has already been established, and in the coming months myGov Business will be introduced for use by entrepreneurs. This project is being implemented jointly with EPAM. At the same time, the condition we have put forward is as follows: so to speak, for the $100 we provide, they bring external contracts to Azerbaijan in a comparable amount - another $100. Our specialists, working on projects within the country, simultaneously participate in international projects, gaining global experience. How do we see the further result? If out of approximately 1,000 or 2,000 people working here, 5–10 create startups, and at least some of them become successful — in any field — this will effectively become one of the key steps toward achieving our ultimate goal: increasing the current 100 million to one or even several billion,” he stated.
