BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 6. Azerbaijan produced textile goods valued at 289.8 million manat ($170.4 million) between January and November of last year.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee shows that this is 6.4 percent less than for the same period of 2023.
Additionally, the textile, apparel, leather, and footwear sectors generated a total output valued at 458.3 million manat ($269.5 million) during the specified timeframe.
In juxtaposition with the analogous timeframe of the preceding year, there was a notable escalation of 28.6 percent in the output of apparel, leather and leather derivatives, and footwear—exhibiting a 7.6 percent uptick—while the textile sector experienced a contraction of 6.4 percent.
