ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 18. The company "Karkyn Trade" will build a vertically integrated broiler poultry farm in the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan with an annual capacity of 48,000 tons of meat, Trend reports via Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

This project aims to meet the growing demand for poultry meat in both domestic and international markets. Currently, the enterprise includes a meat processing plant with a capacity of 12,000 tons of finished products per year and a fattening facility for 2,000 heads.

In 2026, the first phase with a capacity of 16,000 tons of poultry meat will be launched, followed by a production increase to 32,000 tons by 2028 and reaching 48,000 tons by 2030. The total project cost is 52.9 billion tenge ($105.8 million)

A detailed business plan has been developed, covering all aspects of the project’s implementation, and negotiations have been held with potential investors and financial institutions to secure funding.

To note, the scalability enhancement initiative is projected to span a duration of 5 years.
