ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 14. KazTransOil has signed nine offtake contracts worth a total of 543 million tenge (approximately $1.086 million) with suppliers who manufacture products as part of the project to create new production facilities for Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP since the beginning of 2025, Trend reports.
"The list of equipment supplied under the concluded offtake contracts includes pumps, batteries, insulators, anode grounders, radios, office chairs, insulation tape, and other goods," the company said in a statement.
Thus, the company continues to steadily develop cooperation and actively increase procurement volumes from suppliers who are creating new production facilities for import substitution. This is a result of the company's systematic activities aimed at expanding the share of local content in product procurement.
The importance of increasing the share of domestic products in the growing volume of domestic goods in regulated procurement was highlighted by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his address, where he emphasized the need to achieve a volume of offtake contracts with Kazakhstani producers of 10 percent.
