Azerbaijan surpasses budget surplus forecast despite financing deficit in 6M2025
Azerbaijan’s state budget generated a surplus of around 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion) in the first half of the year, exceeding the forecast by nearly 900 million manat due to higher-than-expected revenues and lower expenditures.
