BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 6. The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) raked in nearly $5.725 billion from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) block of fields between January and October this year.
The data obtained by Trend from the Fund shows that for the same period of 2023, the income amounted to $6.353 billion.
Therefore, SOFAZ's income from ACG fell by 9.89 percent year on year.
To note, the development of ACG has been underway since September 20, 1994. The contract will end in December 2049 and concerns the recovery of about one billion tons of oil.
Shares in ACG: bp (30.37 percent), SOCAR (25.0 percent), MOL (9.57 percent), INPEX (9.31 percent), Equinor (7.27 percent), ExxonMobil (6.79 percent), TPAO (5.73 percent), ITOCHU (3.65 percent), ONGCVidesh (2.31 percent).
