ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 14. Since the beginning of 2025, KazTransOil has signed 10 offtake contracts with domestic manufacturers totaling over 658 million tenge (approximately $1.25 million), Trend reports via Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy.
The number of contracts has increased tenfold compared to the same period last year.
“These results became possible thanks to the systematic work supporting Kazakhstani manufacturers, the implementation of the Samruk-Kazyna fund's program for promoting the creation of new productions, as well as close cooperation with government agencies and industry associations,” the statement said.
KazTransOil is actively implementing transparent supplier selection mechanisms, giving priority to enterprises that have confirmed their status as domestic manufacturers. The company places special emphasis on developing long-term partnerships with Kazakhstani companies, which contributes to the sustainable growth of the national economy and the creation of new jobs.
One of the largest offtake contracts of 2025 was signed with the plant KARLSKRONA LC AB for the supply of a centrifugal pump unit for crude oil transportation. Previously, such equipment was not produced in Kazakhstan and had to be imported. On August 7 of this year, a KazTransOil working group visited the KARLSKRONA LC AB plant to monitor the production process and meet with the company’s management.
