ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 24. "We highly appreciate the preparation and conduct of the election of Kurultai deputies."

Trend's special correspondent in Astana reports that Alena Bulgakova, a member of Russia's Central Election Commission, made the remarks in an interview with journalists.

"Every voter had the opportunity to express their will and make an informed choice. In this regard, the measures taken to organize the electoral process were implemented in accordance with the laws of the Republic and international electoral standards," she said.

Bulgakova also highlighted the openness, transparency and publicity of the electoral process.

"It is important to note the degree of openness, transparency and publicity of the electoral process, which was also maintained, because both party observers and independent observers were present at all polling stations," she said.

She emphasized that the election process met all standards and was also highly rated by international observers.

"The turnout that the Central Election Commission of the Republic has already presented today speaks for itself, because voters trust the process, voters are making an informed choice to ensure a достойное future for themselves and their children and the prosperity of the republic," Bulgakova said.

Bulgakova also noted the use of inclusive practices, saying that all polling stations provided opportunities for people with disabilities to exercise their right to vote.
