This was announced in a statement by the press service of the Kazakh government.

Value-added tax (VAT) refunds to businesses totaled 811.5 billion tenge ($1.80 billion) in the first nine months of 2026, compared with 988 billion tenge ($2.19 billion) in the same period of 2025.

Customs payments increased by 706 billion tenge ($1.56 billion) to 3.9 trillion tenge ($8.64 billion), up from 3.2 trillion tenge ($7.09 billion) a year earlier.
