ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, November 7. Turkmenistan discussed with German companies the progress of projects and the creation of industrial facilities in Arkadag city, Trend reports.

These topics were discussed by the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and with the General Director of Edison Technologies Company, Vice President of Teamteshniсk Company, and Sales Manager of Reifenhäuser Group.

The meeting was held as part of Berdimuhamedov's working trip to Arkadag city to get acquainted with the projects of various facilities planned for construction as part of the second stage of construction and the creation of industrial facilities in it.

According to him, within the framework of the program for the industrial development of the country until 2030, it is planned to create various production enterprises in Turkmenistan, in the construction of which German partners will be able to take an active part, and which are aimed at ensuring employment for the city's population.

In turn, representatives of German companies expressed interest in long-term cooperation with Turkmenistan, noting that it would be an honor for them to take part in the construction of a complex for the production of medical equipment, which will be built in Arkadag city.

Further, representatives of the companies also spoke about the possibilities of training specialists for the planned production complexes.

Meanwhile, cooperation between Turkmenistan and German companies includes a wide range of industries, such as energy, oil and gas industry, transport, infrastructure, technology, and agriculture, contributing to the development of economic ties, the exchange of knowledge and technology, as well as creating conditions for mutual prosperity and growth.
