Iranian state-owned company IMIDRO to accelerate the 2 million meters mine drilling plan and to finance import of exploration and drilling equipment via big companies, said the deputy minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Vajihollah Jafari has indicated that guiding liquidity to exploration and development in the mining sector is the policy of the Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) to prepare the ground for implementation of exploration plans.
He noted that IMIDRO aims to develop and provide feed for the mine and mineral industries sector and pursue exploration plans.
"Providing finance for import of exploration equipment and drilling by big companies have been considered and this would accelerate the realization of a target for a 2 million meters drilling plan," he explained.
IMIDRO is following to finance exploration projects in a five-year plan that also aims to renovate and improve infrastructures and exploration and laboratory equipment to increase the efficiency of studies and exploration process.
