BAKU, Uzbekistan, November 28. Turkish exports of carpet products to Uzbekistan decreased by 1.1 percent during 10 months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 and amounted to $5.29 million, Trend reports via the statement from the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
“Türkiye exported carpet products worth $714,540 to Uzbekistan this October, which is 32.4 percent less than in October last year,” the statement reads.
To note, Türkiye's exports of carpet products abroad rose 6.7 percent year-on-year to $2.86 billion from January through October 2024.
The country exported carpet products worth $250 million in October this year, down 2.1 percent compared to October last year.
In the past year (from October 2023 through October 2024), Türkiye's total export of carpet products reached $2.88 billion.
