BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Carpet exports from Türkiye to Turkmenistan increased 17 percent year-on-year to $4.4 million from January through September 2024, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
“In September this year, Türkiye exported carpet products worth $202,000 to Turkmenistan, which is 54 percent less than in September last year,” the statement of the ministry reads.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's exports of carpet products rose 6.7 percent year-on-year to $2 billion from January through September 2024.
“Türkiye exported $250 million worth of carpet products in September this year, which was 2.1 percent less than in September last year,” the statement notes.
To note, Türkiye exported carpet products worth $2.8 billion in the last 12 months (from September 2023 through September 2024).
