BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Expenses of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) on insurance services amounted to 1.5 million manat ($900,000) by the end of 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the CBA shows that this figure increased by 66.4 percent, or 592,000 manat ($357,000), compared to the end of 2023 (891,000 manat or $538,000).
Additionally, the CBA’s allocations for compulsory health insurance reached 758,000 manat ($457,000) at the end of last year, marking an increase of 95,000 manat ($57,000), or 14.3 percent, against 663,000 manat ($400,000) at the end of the previous year.
