ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 3. The Kazakh government introduced a new program to create small industrial zones (SIZs) in 2024, and currently, 46.6 billion tenge ($100 million) has been allocated for these projects, Trend reports.
As many as 34 SIZ projects with a total area of more than 200,000 square meters are being implemented in eight regions of the country.
The program aimed at helping businesses access ready-made manufacturing spaces for the development of domestic production and attracting investments to regional areas.
The program has proven to be highly demanded by businesses in the region. In response, the Ministry is working on the possibility of allocating additional funding to meet the applications coming to the Industrial Development Fund.
