BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 22. The average prices of Azeri Light CIF, Azeri Light FOB Ceyhan, Dated Brent, and Urals crude oil increased last week (August 17-21).
According to Trend's calculations based on data from the oil market source, the price of Azeri Light CIF crude, produced at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field in Azerbaijan, grew by $0.48, or 0.51%, compared to the previous week (August 10-14), to $95.03 per barrel. Data shows that the maximum price for this grade of crude oil during the week (August 10-14) was $97.12 per barrel, and the minimum was $91.31.
The average price of Azeri Light crude oil on a FOB basis at the Turkish port of Ceyhan was $91.52 per barrel, which is $1.31, or 0.12%, less than the previous week (August 10-14). During the week (August 17-21), the maximum price was $93.70 per barrel, and the minimum was $88.20.
The price of Urals crude oil rose by $3.3, or 5.14%, compared to the previous week (August 10-14), standing at $67.48 per barrel. During the week (August 17-21), the maximum price was $70.29, and the minimum was $63.08.
The Dated Brent crude oil price averaged $92.95, up by $0.23, or 0.25%, compared to the previous week (August 10-14). During the week (August 17-21), the maximum price was $94.43 per barrel, and the minimum was $90.16.
