Uzbek President approved the structure of the Antimonopoly Committee of Uzbekistan, Trend reports via SputnikUz.
The Committee will create effective instruments for the antimonopoly regulation of digital economy.
President’s decree states that the number of management staff of the committee will be 242 people.
Moreover, chairman of the state structure will be able to attract foreign specialists to work.
The Antimonopoly Committee is the successor of Uzbekistan State Committee for promotion of privatized enterprises and development of competition in its rights, obligations and agreements in terms of antimonopoly regulation.
The Antimonopoly Committee exercises its authority independently of all government bodies and organizations.
The organization will need to introduce tools to protect competition and improve the system of state regulation of prices (tariffs) for goods (works, services) through the introduction of new highly effective methods.
