BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 17. The total cost of production in Azerbaijan's mining industry stood at 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion) in January 2025, decreasing by five percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that the output of marketable oil, which is the main product of the industry, was 2.3 million tons, and the output of marketable natural gas - 3.1 bcm.
Marketable oil production decreased by 6.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and marketable gas production went down by 4.8 percent.
