ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 29. The 'Lebapgallaönümleri' Production Association, located in the Lebap region in eastern Turkmenistan, manufactured over 47,680 tons of flour from January through November this year, Trend reports.
During this period, the production association manufactured 480 tons of flour more than the production plan.
Furthermore, the enterprise also produced 4,986 tons of cereals, of which 3,656 tons were rice, and 1,330 tons were wheat flour.
At the same time, the 'Lebapgallaönümleri' production plan for the first 11 months of this year was exceeded by 1.1 percent.
In general, over the corresponding period, the volume of products manufactured in value terms amounted to almost 43.17 million Turkmen manat ($12.32 million), while the growth rate was 0.9 percent.
Meanwhile, Turkmenistan prioritizes agricultural expansion and food security due to its enormous natural resources and favorable environment.
Turkmenistan's government has paid special attention to the food sector in recent years, aiming to reduce the country's reliance on imports and secure a sustainable supply of food to the population.
