BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 12. The number of passengers transported to international destinations via Iran's airports increased by 22 percent during seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through October 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the company shows that 2.14 million (2,383,853) passengers were transported via Iranian airports on international routes during seven months. However, in the same month last year, about 1.95 million (1,948,708) passengers were flown through Iranian airports.
