BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. The volume of carpet exports from Türkiye to Uzbekistan decreased by 7.5 percent year-on-year to $5.7 million from January through November 2024, Trend reports via the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
“In November this year, Türkiye exported carpet products worth $714,000 to Uzbekistan, which is 32.9 percent less than in November last year," the information says.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's carpet exports from January through November 2024 increased by 5 percent year-on-year to $2.6 billion compared to the same period last year.
“Türkiye exported carpet products worth $259.8 million in November this year, which was 2.6 percent less than in November last year,” the statement of the ministry reads.
To note, Türkiye exported carpet products worth $2.8 billion in the last 12 months (from November 2023 through November 2024).
