ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 16. Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas Askhat Khassenov held a meeting with the Chairman and CEO of DeGolyer and MacNaughton Corp. (D&M), John Wallace, Trend reports via KazMunayGas.
During the meeting, the parties kicked around ideas for bilateral cooperation, including taking a hard look at reserves and resource base evaluation in line with international standards. They also addressed training specialists in areas such as geology, field development, and petroleum economics.
“In addition, there was an exchange of views on global and regional trends in the energy market. Both sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in order to enhance the investment attractiveness of KMG,” the company’s statement noted.
DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M) is a leading independent consulting firm in the field of petroleum resource assessment and management, headquartered in Dallas, US.
