BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 21. Azerbaijan exported 405.4 million kWh of electricity to Georgia from January through March 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee shows that the electricity export in this volume generated $23.1 million in revenue.
The export volume increased by 55.2 million kWh (15.8 percent), and the value increased by $5.1 million (28.3 percent) compared to the same period last year.
In the first quarter of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 350.2 million kWh of electricity worth $18 million to Georgia.
To note, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported a total of 440.4 million kWh of electricity, valued at $24.4 million, to Russia, Georgia, and Iran.
