Iran experiences growth in Central Bank debt levels
Debts to the Central Bank of Iran rose 33 percent by July 22, 2025, compared to the same time last year. Total debts reached 15.5 quadrillion rials ($25.8 billion). Government debt grew 56.3 percent and other banks’ debt 16.6 percent, reaching 7.65 and 7.86 quadrillion rials, respectively.
