BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. A total of 111 companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Türkiye from January through June 2024, which is 19 companies less than in the same period of 2023, the statement of the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchange said, Trend reports.
“While during the reporting period, the total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Türkiye amounted to 80 million Turkish liras, this figure amounted to 155 million Turkish liras in the same period of 2023,” the statement of TOBB reads.
The authority also noted that from January through June 2024, the majority of Azerbaijani companies were registered in Istanbul (95).
“The total capital of Azerbaijani companies registered in Istanbul amounted to 72 million Turkish liras,” the information from TOBB stressed.
According to the information, 59 trading companies with Azerbaijani capital were registered in Türkiye from January through June 2024. The rest of the companies cover other sectors of the economy.
