BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 16. The reconstruction and demolition activities have been successfully carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to the information, the relevant works have also started within the reconstruction works in Mahruzlu village of Gubadli district.
Thus, construction and installation works of non-residential buildings and systems of intra-district engineering communications (water supply, sewerage, gas pipelines, electricity, communication network, and internal roads) will be carried out in Mahruzlu village.
The Rehabilitation, Construction, and Management Service in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts has begun preparations in this regard.
The entity forecasts that the expenditures associated with the
initiatives in the locality will amount to 26.4 million manat
($15.5 million).
It is pertinent to highlight that Mahruzlu village, situated within
the Gubadli district, is positioned at a distance of 19 kilometers
from the district's central hub. The aggregate anticipated expanse
of the village encompasses 197 hectares.
The village was occupied by Armenian armed forces in 1993.
The Azerbaijani army liberated the village from occupation on November 9, 2020.
