ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 25. The government of Kazakhstan has allocated more than 116 billion tenge (approximately $232 million) from the state reserve to support domestic agrarians, Trend reports.

The resolution was signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov as part of the implementation of President Tokayev's instructions, which were announced at an expanded government meeting on January 28, 2025.

According to the document, the funds will be directed towards financing spring field and harvesting works in 2025, as well as the purchase of domestically produced agricultural machinery. The program includes subsidizing coupon payments on bonds issued by the Agrarian Credit Corporation JSC and KazAgroFinance JSC, as well as reducing the commission fees for guaranteeing loans through the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

These measures are aimed at improving the financial condition of agrarians and stimulating affordable lending for agricultural producers. It should be noted that in December 2024, 100 billion tenge (approximately $200 million) had already been allocated to increase the volume of financing for spring field work in 2025.
