BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 12. The revenues on mandatory state social insurance contributions in the country exceeded 443.4 million manat ($260.8 million) in January 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy shows that revenues from this source increased by 11.6 percent or more than 46.1 million manat ($27.1 million) compared to the same period in 2023. Revenues from off-budget organizations increased by 12.6 percent compared to the same period last year, exceeding 321 million manat ($188.8 million).
Meanwhile, in January 2025, revenues on unemployment insurance contributions increased by 18.4 percent compared to the same period of last year and totaled 16 million manat ($9.4 million). Revenues on extra-budgetary organizations increased by 14.9 percent and reached more than 13 million manat ($7.6 million).
During the reporting period, revenues from mandatory health insurance premiums increased by 10.2 percent compared to the same period of last year, exceeding 79.3 million manat ($27.4 million). Receipts from extra-budgetary organizations increased by 8.1 percent and stood at about 61 million manat ($35.8 million).
