BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has appointed ambassadors to several countries, as well as a new permanent representative to the UN Office in Geneva.
The presidential decree on the appointments, signed by Erdogan, was published in Resmi Gazete, Türkiye's official gazette.
Under the decree, Mustafa Levent Bilgen has been recalled as Türkiye's ambassador to Ukraine and appointed ambassador to Iceland.
Fatma Jeren Yazgan has been recalled as Türkiye's ambassador to the Netherlands and appointed ambassador to Ukraine.
Burak Akcapar, who previously served as Türkiye's permanent representative to the UN Office in Geneva, has been appointed ambassador to the Netherlands.
Ayshe Sozen Usluer has been appointed Türkiye's permanent representative to the UN Office in Geneva.
The appointments were made in accordance with Articles 2, 3 and 4 of Presidential Decree No. 3.
