BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 1. The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) amounted to $11.795 billion as of September 30, 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's CBA shows that this is 0.1 percent or $12.3 million, more than the previous month's figure and 20.67 percent or $2.02 billion, more than the figure for the same period in 2023.
According to the regulator, the CBA's foreign exchange reserves stood at $9.775 billion on September 29, 2023 and $11.783 billion on August 30, 2024.
To note, the CBA data indicates that Azerbaijan's strategic foreign exchange reserves increased by 17 percent and amounted to $68.5 billion at the end of 2023.
