BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14. Azerbaijan's Lachin has become a hub of international cooperation and cultural dialogues, Masim Mammadov, the President's Special Representative in the Lachin district, part of the East Zangezur economic region, said at the 30th Anniversary Caspian Construction Week, Trend reports.
According to him, the first stage of the district's restoration has been completed in the last three years, three villages have been rebuilt and commissioned, as well as the construction of more than 30 enterprises has also been finalized.
He pointed out that a new airport and hotel complex have been commissioned in Lachin.
"A project is planned to provide large cities with drinking water. Also, a modern cable car is being built in Lachin. Lachin has become not only a rebuilt district, but also a center of international cooperation and cultural dialogues," the official added.
