ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, May 26. A new high-voltage electrical substation operating at 220, 110, 35, and 10 kilovolts has been officially commissioned in the Tejen district of Turkmenistan’s Ahal region, Trend reports.
Occupying a nine-hectare footprint and outfitted with
state-of-the-art technology adhering to global compliance
benchmarks, the substation boasts dual transformers, each rated at
125 megavolt-amperes, supplemented by auxiliary transformers with
specifications of 40 and 25 megavolt-amperes.
The establishment's framework encompasses three external switchgear
assemblies functioning at 220, 110, and 35 kilovolts, in addition
to a singular internal switchgear assembly at 10 kilovolts, thereby
guaranteeing dependable and optimized electrical distribution
across the area.
At the commissioning ceremony, automotive apparatus was conferred
as a token of appreciation on behalf of Turkmenistan’s President
Serdar Berdimuhammedov.
The newly commissioned substation is anticipated to optimize the
power distribution network and serve a critical function in
bolstering the sustainable advancement of the Tejen district and
the broader Ahal region.
