TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 29. The telecommunications services in Uzbekistan hit the jackpot, soaring to 7.7 trillion soums ($616 million) from January to April 2025, which is a whopping 14.4 percent leap compared to the same stretch in 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's National Statistics Committee indicate that telecommunications services reached an impressive 6.4 trillion soums ($512 million) during the January–April 2024 period, underscoring robust growth trajectories and sectoral expansion dynamics.
This positive trajectory signifies an escalating appetite for digital interconnectivity, mobile telecommunications, and internet service proliferation nationwide, aligning seamlessly with Uzbekistan’s overarching digital metamorphosis objectives.
