The interactive Braille Teach device, developed by the Azerbaijani IT company BIONIX Tech, will be localized in Hebrew, the founder of the company Rashid Aliyev told Trend.
Aliyev noted that it is planned to export these devices to Israel, and the first batch will comprise approximately 5,000 units.
"The initiative to implement the project was offered by the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan," Aliyev said.
Braille Teach devices are designed for visually impaired children, and using these devices they can learn Braille alphabet via a simple and convenient method. The device has voice support: it is enough for the child to press the necessary button, for example, the combination of the letter "A", and the device will sound it. Accordingly, the device reports errors in case if wrong buttons are pressed. Braille Teach has games that make it easy to learn Braille.
Braille Teach devices support five languages (Azerbaijani, Russian, English, Turkish and Ukrainian). Language support, as Aliyev had earlier said, will gradually develop as the device enters new markets.
