The Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology of Iran announced a 3 percent increase in the capacity of the country's bandwidth.
"Today, 2300 MHz bandwidth licenses were issued for Mobile Telecommunication Company of Iran known as MCI and Irancell operators,” Hossein Fallah Joshaghani said announced in a statement published on his Twitter account, Trend reports.
Deputy Minister of ICT added that with the installation of new equipment, the capacity of the country's 4th generation mobile bandwidth will increase by 30 percent.
According to IRNA, the outbreak of the Coronavirus has led to increasing the use of the internet for virtual education.
As a result, the Internet network slowed down in some places during peak consumption. Increasing the capacity of the bandwidth is the most important step to increase the quality of the Internet.
