The reason for governmental agencies refusal to employ Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia and subsequent leave from the country is lack of knowledge of Georgian language, Trend reports quoting Nazim Ibrahimov, chairman of State Committee for work with Azerbaijanis residing abroad.

He said the problems of Azerbaijanis education in Georgia are not limited to maintenance of Azeri schools and their repair as increase of these schools number does not influence Georgian language teaching in them.

Ibrahimov opined that Georgian language shall be mandatory in Azeri schools in Georgia. В"Otherwise, no Azerbaijanis will remain in Georgia. Azeri man leaving schools with no Georgian is unable to get higher education and get employed in state agencies. For this reason, Georgias Azerbaijanis leave for other countries, in particular RussiaВ", - he concluded.
