Azerbaijan's economic growth in 2025 experienced a slowdown compared to the previous year, driven by a decline in oil production and weaker growth in the non-oil sector. Anna Rose Bordon, head of the IMF mission in Azerbaijan, explained that the slowdown resulted from diminishing effects of past public investments and the broader economic impact of lower oil prices.
