DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 6. A new plastic pipe manufacturing enterprise, named "Mirob", was launched in the Buston city of the Sughd region of Tajikistan, by President Emomali Rahmon, Trend reports.

The manufacturing enterprise is equipped to produce 16 different types of polyethylene pipes, with diameters ranging from 15 to 315 millimeters. The length of the pipes varies from 6 to 100 meters based on their diameter.

The enterprise has a production capacity of 400 to 500 meters per day, resulting in an annual output of 50 to 60 thousand meters of high-quality plastic pipes. The aim is to meet the growing market demand for these products.

To support the production process, the company has installed two modern production lines imported from China. The raw materials mainly come from the Russia, Iran, and Uzbekistan.

Industry experts have confirmed that the polyethylene pipes manufactured by this new facility meet international standards in terms of type and quality.

Buston city currently houses 51 industrial enterprises producing a diverse range of 20 different goods, including import-substituting products. The industrial sector in the region has shown positive growth, with industrial production reaching a value of 255 million somoni in the first five months of this year. This represents a growth of 11.2 million somoni or 105 percent compared to the same period last year.
