The launch date of the backup DATA-center of AzInTelecom LLC has been postponed to the end of the third quarter of 2018, , a source in the country's telecommunications market told Trend on March 13.
Earlier it was reported that the backup data center will be put into operation before the end of the first half of 2018.
The backup data center will be located in the country’s Yevlakh district. The main data processing center of AzInTelecom is located in Baku.
AzIntelecom LLC started commercial exploitation of the resources of the major DATA-center in Azerbaijan since January 2017. Presently, a client base, which will consist of state-owned enterprises and private companies, is being formed.
Information databases of ministries and departments will be based on the DATA-center of the LLC, which ensures optimization of the government spending.
DATA-center received a certificate of compliance with the Tier3 level, the presence of which is the official confirmation that it is designed on the basis of world standards and meets the necessary criteria of reliability and safety.
