The volume of the Azerbaijani state budget revenues from value added tax (VAT) last year exceeded the forecast, amounting to over 4.8 billion manat ($2.8 billion), the bill on ‘Implementation of Azerbaijani state budget in 2020’ said, Trend reports on May 24.
According to the bill, the projected volume of revenues was envisaged at the level of over 4.5 billion manat ($2.6 billion).
The volume of personal income tax exceeded the forecast by 1.9 percent, amounting to 1.15 billion manat ($680 million). Revenues from corporate income tax exceeded the forecast by 3.7 percent and reached 2.35 billion manat ($1.38 billion).
The state budget revenues from land tax and property tax topped the projected level by 2 and 0.4 percent, respectively, reaching 40 million manat ($23.5 million) and 186 million manat ($109.4 million).
The revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2020, according to the bill, amounted to 24.68 billion manat ($14.52).
