Azerbaijan, Baku 30 March / Trend corr S. Babayeva / Azerbaijani petrochemical machine-building company Azneftkimyamash OJSC has produced oil field equipment and geological exploration equipment, tools and spare parts in the sum of AZN 5.8mln in January to February 2008, an increase of 42.4% on the same period of 2007, the Chief Economist of the company, Nariman Boyukkishi, reported.
"It was possible by strengthening production," the chairman of the enterprise said.
According to Boyukkishi, the most productive enterprise was the Surakhany Machine Building Plant, which produced machines to the amount of AZN 800,000. The production of the Baku Worker plant made up AZN 670,000, Sabunchi oil-refinery plant AZN 490,000 Baku Machine Building Plant at AZN 405,000, Sattarkhan Machine Building Plant at AZN 340,000, Sardarov plant AZN 565,000, Baku Oil Field Plant AZN 612,000 and Zabrat machine-building plant at AZN 900,000.
The OJSC sold products worth AZN 5mln at the domestic and export markets.
In 2008 production at Azneftkimyamash is forecast at over AZN 33.5mln.
Azneftkimyamash OJSC was established on the basis of the Azneftkimyamash state company by order of the President on 22 March, 2001. The company includes 14 machine-building plants and four scientific-research and design-construction institutions.
