The International Bank of Azerbaijan, which is the biggest bank in the country among 15 Azerbaijani financial and credit institutions ranked first in terms of the volume of mortgage loans issued in Azerbaijan in 2018.
According to the audited report of the bank, the volume of loans issued to customers for the purchase of housing amounted to 531.559 million manats, which is 41.6 percent of the total volume of mortgage loans among the corresponding banks.
Xalq Bank ranked second in the ranking with the volume of mortgage loans worth 116.098 million manats.
VTB Bank ranked third with a total volume of mortgage loans worth 114.02 million manats.
