BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Azerbaijan's Absheron field produced 200,000 tons of condensate from January through April 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Ministry of Energy indicates that this marks an increase of 60,000 tons, or 42.9 percent, compared to the first quarter of the year, when production stood at about 140,000 tons.
According to operational data from January through April of this year, 9.1 million tons of oil (together with condensate) were produced in the republic. Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field accounts for 5.3 million tons of production, Shah Deniz field - 1.3 million tons (condensate), Absheron field - 0.2 million tons (condensate). Oil production (together with condensate) by SOCAR amounted to 2.3 million tons.
This includes daily oil production (together with condensate) of 75,100 tons (566,000 barrels). Of these, 61,600 tons (455,000 barrels) were crude oil and 13,500 tons (111,000 barrels) were condensate.
