BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. The number of mineral deposits in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories allocated for use through auction has been disclosed, the State Service on Property Issues told Trend.
Under the “Rules on Holding Auctions and Tenders for the Use of Subsoil Resources,” a total of six mineral deposits located in the liberated territories have so far been allocated through auction by the Auction Organization Center.
Specifically, the following deposits were put into use through auctions: the “Dovlatyarli” limestone deposit in Fuzuli District on December 15, 2023; the “Hajili” and “Ahmadli” facing stone deposits in the Gubadli and Lachin districts, respectively, on June 12, 2024; the “Yemishjan” facing stone deposit in Khojaly District on September 12, 2024; the “Aghchay” facing stone deposit in the same district on December 19, 2024; and the “Khojaly” clay deposit, also in Khojaly District, on February 19, 2025.
