BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 8. Israel launched airstrikes against military targets in western and central Iran, the Israeli army said in a statement, Trend reports.
At the same time, Iranian media reported powerful explosions heard in several Iranian cities, including the capital Tehran, Tabriz and Isfahan.
On the evening of June 7, Iran launched ballistic missiles at Israel. All of them were intercepted by Israeli air defense systems.
