BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. The volume of loans granted to legal entities operating in the real estate sector in Azerbaijan was 83.9 million manat ($49.35 million) at the end of February this year.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBA) shows this figure's decrease by 1.5 million manat ($882,000), or 1.75 percent, compared to the end of the previous month (85.4 million manat or $50.24 million).
The total loan portfolio for the real sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 29.4 billion manat ($17.29 billion), reflecting an increase of 77.6 million manat ($45.65 million), or 0.3 percent in monthly terms.
